Operating Model Effectiveness Tax Manager The candidate will hone existing skills, learn new skills, and take on challenging responsibilities as they arise. Will have ample hands-on client interaction with tax and business professionals. In doing so, will become a trusted tax advisor who understands how businesses in various industries operate and help them to achieve their goals. There isn’t an average day for an OME Manager – so likely to spend time applying a diverse array of tax, economic, financial, and industry knowledge in a practical manner to client situations. Will help develop and deliver an array of quality OME work products (memoranda, financial analyses, supply chain models, IP management plans, etc.). Overall, will have the opportunity to contribute to the OME innovation and thought leadership agenda and be a part of the practice’s continued growth. Analyze of complex value chain concepts, situations, and options. Possess strong business acumen.Apply tax, economic and financial knowledge in a practical manner to client situations. Develop and deliver quality OME work products in a timely and responsive manner and documentation of client information. Collaborate across multiple disciplines/functions to brainstorm about practical solutions relevant to a client situations. Contribute to the Firm’s OME innovation and thought leadership efforts.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in Business, Finance, Economics or JD or LL.M. (Taxation). Must have 7 years relevant tax or supply chain work experience in a professional services firm or industry. Strong Subpart F experience is required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should have effective time and project management skills for projects that require cross-functional analysis Experience in a professional services firm is preferred.
