Zone Contract Leader Responsibilities: Work cross functionally with Sales, Deal Managers, Pricing, Product Management, Finance, etc. to finalize contracts / close deals that deliver on customer commitments, drive profitability and business growth. Redline and negotiate effective contract(s) and / or amendment(s), including appropriate terms and conditions. Focus on maximizing margins and operational, financial and contractual risks. Lead negotiations with customers, where required. Partner with the Sales team to develop contracts and language to achieve the desired requirements for strategic accounts. Assist Sales (or Deal Managers) in contract creation and administration; including reviews of contracts / amendments to ensure compliance with business needs, policies and procedures. Identify and help to mitigate deal risks, especially those relevant to the contract. Ensure all contracts and contract versions are properly stored for future reference and compliance with documentation policies. Ensure proper escalations and observation of the rules for approval of non standard contract terms. Managing contract clause libraries and contract databases.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Paralegal certification with 3 to 5 years of experience or contract administrator with +5 years of experience. Commercial experience (Examples Include: experience in a contract management role (Contract administration experience; legal, risk management; Experience in redlining and negotiating contracts that involve large scale projects; Experience in redlining and negotiating contracts that involve software). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent process and organizational skills, attention to detail. Highly proficient in Microsoft / other relevant software usage (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Results-oriented, clear and logical thinker. Strong business acumen. Desired Characteristics: JD Degree or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university or college. Experience of the Healthcare industry and previous exposure to medical industry regulations (FDA, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback).
