Litigation Assistant Duties: Manage responses to discovery (document requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas) including collection of documents. Update case files and document case-related communications. Implement litigation holds and ensure compliance with Squareâ€™s document retention policy. Maintain a litigation calendar for all matters. Conduct legal and market research. Scan and process mail. Work closely with our internal product, business, and compliance teams, as well as with external advisors and experts. Manage projects effectively, with a team-oriented approach.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: B.A./B.S. e-Billing and matter management skills. 3+ years of legal experience, a mix of in-house and private practice experience is preferred. The ability to work with team members at all levels, sometimes under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ability to be a good team player and help achieve team goals. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail.
