Duties:

• Offer regulatory advice to healthcare providers and specialty practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Advise clients on compliance, risk management, and transactional matters.
• Conduct audits and investigations related to healthcare compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the firm to address complex legal matters.
• Guide regulatory interactions with agencies like HHS, CMS, and state healthcare entities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law.
• Strong understanding of healthcare-related laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Experience providing counsel to healthcare providers, specialty practices, and healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory bodies such as HHS, CMS, and relevant state agencies.
• Ability to manage complex healthcare transactions and compliance investigations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Certifications:

• Must hold an active license to practice law in the relevant state.
