A law firm in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join their domestic relations team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience handling family law matters and will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to clients in various family law cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle client consultations and maintain regular client communication.
• Represent clients in court appearances and circuit court trials as lead counsel.
• Assist in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery.
• Conduct legal research on various family law issues and provide legal analysis.
• Provide strategic client advice and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar with current membership in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong understanding of Virginia family law statutes and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
