ProfileLaw School Intern The intern will be reviewing cases for jurisdiction; conducting legal research; writing bench memoranda, orders, opinions, and correspondence on a variety of legal issues. Duties may also include attendance at hearings, trials, and conferences. Effective interaction with members of the Bar, Clerk’s Office staff, and Chambers’ staff is essential to this position. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to attend oral arguments and observe the workings of a U.S. Federal Court. Must have completed their first year of law school by the start of the internship. Expected to possess excellent analytical, research, writing, proofreading, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently. Note : This is a temporary position. Expected internship tenure is from early May through August 2018. This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week. Closing Date: 04/10/2018.
