Profile

Mahwah office of our client seeks litigation attorney with experience. The candidate will manage a docket of between 30 to 100 foreclosure defense cases, tax resolution cases, and family law cases. Will assist the Managing Attorney with litigation in other areas of the law including civil litigation, criminal law, and commercial litigation. Make regular court appearances for Case Management Conferences, Mediation Conferences, Summary Judgment Motions and Trial. Prepare discovery and effectively use discovery to achieve case goals. Be an effective negotiator, both in and out of the Courtroom, who can connect and influence all stakeholders who have an impact on case outcomes. Handle client communication keeping client goals in the forefront, regularly updating clients on case developments, and including them in the process of determining and implementing case strategy. Experience appearing before Bergen County judges is desired. Prior lender-side foreclosure experience is preferred. Trial experience is desired. Must be New Jersey and New York licensed.
