A leading law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its finance group, specifically within the structured finance subgroup. The position offers hybrid flexibility with office locations available in various cities across the . The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and/or asset-based lending. Duties

  • Provide legal support on structured finance and securitization transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to asset-based lending, structured finance, and securitization matters.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on issues arising from structured finance and securitization matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-profile transactions, providing effective and timely legal solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing advice and updates throughout the transaction process.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, client memorandums, and other communication materials.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure the timely completion of client projects and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or asset-based lending.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal issues with sound judgment and creativity.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of application.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of application.
