Job Overview: A law firm in Merritt Island, FL, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to manage civil litigation cases throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will work closely with board-certified trial counsel and must demonstrate exceptional legal research, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation cases within Florida.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely analysis of legal issues.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar preferred.
• Experience in Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, or Business Litigation is advantageous.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and good character.
