Commercial Contracts Manager The candidate will support world-class sales team by negotiating, drafting and closing subscription software license agreements, reseller agreements, consulting, and other commercial transactions. Will act as first point of contact for sales team contract requests. Draft, negotiate, and close software licensing agreements (on premise and hosted solutions); consulting agreements; channel and resale agreements; OEM agreements; NDAs; and other commercial contracts. Provide timely, strategic advice to our sales organization; partner with our legal team to provide top flight client service to our sales organization and successfully execute our sales strategy and business plan. Collaborate with finance, tax, IT and other internal business leads to obtain necessary approvals for non-standard contract positions. Contribute to various internal operations projects (i.e. form templates; policies, playbook positions etc.). Bachelor’s degree is required; JD degree, paralegal or comparable credentials welcome. Should have 5-7 years of contracts negotiation experience. Technology industry experience and knowledge of subscription licensing principles required. Must have ability to read, draft and understand contractual terms; strong experience in redlining and negotiating agreements is required. Must have excellent drafting and verbal skills; ability to craft custom legal language and succinctly explain complex legal concepts to business partners and customers.
