Paralegal – Contracts The candidate supports discrete business areas by drafting and reviewing boilerplate agreements, and addenda and other legal documents. Assists attorneys in drafting, reviewing and revising more complex contracts. Assists in maintaining department tickler systems, status reports and corporate records. Assists attorneys in responding to document requests and generating, compiling and organizing legal reports. Conducts legal research. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Associate’s degree is required. Paralegal Certificate (Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university acceptable in lieu of a Paralegal Certificate) is needed. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Should have 2+ years of corporate legal or law firm experience required. Should preferably have 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
