Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm, located in New York City, is seeking an experienced General Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for handling complex litigation, including commercial disputes, class actions, consumer fraud, and product liability matters. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in litigation and will be admitted to practice law in New York.

Duties:

• Represent clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, including cross-border matters and class actions.
• Advise clients on complex legal issues related to commercial contracts, consumer fraud, and product liability.
• Manage all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial and appeal.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal trends, statutes, and case law relevant to commercial litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial litigation or related areas.
• Admission to practice in New York State.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience in handling complex litigation cases, including class actions and cross-border disputes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
