BioPharma Contract Analyst Duties: Perform preliminary reviews of contracts, inserting and/or revising standard language and summarizing key points for further review by management. Understand and be sensitive to client needs, balancing those needs with internal practices, goals and priorities. Quickly and efficiently move contracts and pricing through the processes of draft, approval and administration. Act as liaison to the relevant departments as contracts move through process of approval. Collaborate with the internal teams to initiate process improvements in contracting. Actively develop productive relationships with internal teams and external clients. Conceive and execute contract methodology to improve company profitability and mitigate risk. Track contract milestones and review dates. Efficient data extraction, input and analysis using multiple data sources and contracts. Provide ad hoc contract analysis for the Director or Financial planning and other senior leadership in support of the sales function. Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established company standards and associate attributes at all times. Assist with other duties other administrative duties as assigned/required.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ years’ experience with Contract Administration, preferably in Clinical Trials. Previous paralegal experience preferred. Self-driven individual able to work autonomously. Experience with Salesforce is preferred. Thorough working knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access). Advanced knowledge of Excel required, advance knowledge of Access preferred. Working knowledge of business intelligence tools preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Able to understand nuances of contract language and pricing decisions. Highly organized with strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy. Able to navigate data from various sources and use data to facilitate optimal decision making. Strong skills in multi-tasking and prioritization. Ability to be proactive, handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Ability to communicate with internal associates at all levels of the Company. Ability to effectively influence others inside the Company as well as champion and implement ideas. Ability to be flexible to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters. Ability to demonstrate ethical conduct and decision-making skills.
