This role is designed for an attorney with experience in . franchising regulations, who is adept at drafting franchise agreements and handling regulatory compliance. The position involves advising clients on complex business transactions within the franchise sector, with a client base spanning both domestic and international markets.

Duties:

• Draft and review franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents, and other regulatory filings.
• Advise clients on complex business transactions within the franchise and distribution sectors.
• Counsel clients on compliance and regulatory obligations related to . franchising laws, supporting both domestic and international needs.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on transactional and litigation matters within franchise law.
• Work with a diverse range of clients, including emerging franchisors, established franchise brands, private equity firms, and international businesses expanding into the .

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transactional franchise law.
• Proficient understanding of . franchise regulations and compliance standards.
• Admission to practice law in Illinois, or eligibility for admission via waiver.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and writing abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
