Western Digital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director and Senior Counsel to join our Legal team as the lead for our Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your legal expertise and strategic thinking skills to help guide and enhance our company's proactive anti-corruption initiatives. You will work closely with various departments and have a key role in managing risks related to corruption and bribery. This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range of $171, to $243,, depending on qualifications and experience. As the Director and Senior Counsel of the Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption program, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the company's anti-corruption program. This includes providing legal advice, conducting due diligence, and monitoring high-risk transactions. You will also collaborate with various departments, such as Investigations, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Procurement, and Sales/Channel Marketing, to ensure compliance with anti-corruption policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Provide anti-bribery and anti-corruption expertise to the company, working closely with outside counsel when necessary. - Implement and manage the company's anti-corruption program, including due diligence, training, tools, and monitoring high-risk transactions. - Collaborate with other departments to update anti-corruption policies, procedures, and internal controls based on risk assessments and root-cause reports. - Analyze anti-corruption data, identify trends, and assess compliance risks. - Work with Investigations and Internal Audit on complex cases and remediation activities. Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and membership in at least one . state bar. - Prior experience in a global company is preferred. - Experience in government, particularly with the . Department of Justice or SEC, is a plus. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations to diverse audiences. - Excellent organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. - Strong integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality. - Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate with other functions. - Minimal travel required for this position.
