Paralegal The candidate performs legal research, document review and preparation and file management as directed. Reviews legal documents, including notices, pleadings and correspondence, and manages calendar of corresponding due dates/deadlines. Drafts memorandums, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested. Provides guidance to management regarding legal issues pursuant to direction of Attorney. Coordinates and interacts with outside attorneys and legal assistants. Performs legal research to identify issues, determine supporting/contrasting legal authority and arrive at legal conclusions/recommendations. Conducts legal research, prepares legal resource materials performs various legal tasks and provides assistance to other departments requiring legal assistance. Gathers, analyzes and prepares research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents. Structures, reviews, redlines, drafts and administers various agreements. Operates technology systems, including contract management system, document management system, electronic billing system, redline compare software and others as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Should have High School or equivalent and Bachelor's Level Degree or Paralegal Certificate. Must have 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or comparable experience working in a corporate setting.
