ProfileSenior Counsel, Regulatory Affairs The candidate will assist in managing firm's remittance activity as it relates to the regulatory environment. Will participate in the development and execution of regulatory strategy. Be the point of contact for the global remittance business teams on regulatory issues. Will be responsible for developing global insights to be provided to Executive Management on regulatory implications. Review legal opinions and provide strategic regulatory advice for advancing firm's business. Work closely with Region Regulatory Affairs team members to create a coordinated global approach to legal advice. Engage with the Regional Regulatory Affairs team members to determine regulatory requirements and implications to firm. Drive review of regulatory implications by internal stakeholders. Drive regulatory compliance and coordinate with the Region Regulatory Attorneys on the development of compliance based on local obligations. Liaise with the Global Compliance and Treasury teams on impacts of legal reviews.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have JD degree from an established law school. Must have 4-6 years of proven success in navigating multi-national organizations or as an attorney at a law firm demonstrating expertise relating to regulatory issues in financial services. Must operate effectively within a diverse multicultural organization. Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
