Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be a seasoned civil attorney with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas and possess a strong track record in handling a variety of civil litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation cases. Handle real estate litigation, including disputes over property rights and transactions. Address cases involving fraud, breach of contract, and negligence. Manage usury claims and disputes involving excessive interest charges. Resolve partnership and shareholder disputes. Conduct business litigation, including cases involving trade secrets and other commercial issues. Provide strategic legal advice and develop litigation strategies. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories. Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Texas. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil litigation. Proven experience in plaintiff and defendant representation. Strong background in real estate litigation, fraud, breach of contract, and negligence. Experience with usury claims and partnership/shareholder disputes. Expertise in business litigation and trade secrets. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong courtroom presence and trial experience. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
