A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Antitrust Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience.

 

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate should have general experience in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on handling discovery, depositions, pleadings, and document review. Specific experience in antitrust litigation and/or large MDL civil litigation is required. Preference will be given to candidates with courtroom experience. Outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and lead complex commercial litigation matters, particularly focusing on antitrust litigation
  • Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
  • Take and defend depositions of key witnesses
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and clarity
  • Conduct thorough document review and analysis for relevance and privilege
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in courtroom proceedings as necessary
  • Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis on antitrust and related issues
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Massachusetts or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
  • 4-7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, with specific experience in antitrust litigation and/or large MDL civil litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials with a strong record of achievement
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading litigation matters
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Courtroom experience preferred
