Real Estate Attorney The candidate will collaborate with a team of authors, editors and illustrators to develop a web-based product. Will engage in the product life cycle from planning and development to completion and maintenance. Report to the Manager of Bar/MBE Product Development and develops content for the online MBE Question Bank. Play a key role in project development, planning, and execution. Write MBE passages and questions with comprehensive rationales. Revise and provide constructive feedback on content written by other authors. Generate content that reflects existing blueprint standards and current law. Apply knowledge that reflects the MBE blueprint and standardized examination practices for generation of test items. Validate accuracy and relevance of content generated with other team members. Collaborate with management and team members to ensure goals are met. Work with other content experts to identify topics for new product development. Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met. Work closely with editing and illustration teams to create exceptional content that adheres to company standards. Respond quickly to user feedback and makes necessary edits to question bank content. Work collaboratively with team members to provide and receive feedback with tact and diplomacy. Assist other team members during peak periods of content revision to ensure that all deadlines are met. Communicate effectively with quality assurance team to resolve technical issues related to content in a timely manner. Communicate with IT and support teams to troubleshoot exam development problems that inhibit productivity or result in customer dissatisfaction. Participate in ongoing performance evaluation of current test items in the question bank. Recognize and champion the integrity and security of question bank content and proprietary assets.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a J.D. degree (Top 25% preferred). Undergraduate GPA of 3.6 or higher is required. Should have passed the Bar Exam to be considered. Must be currently in good standing to practice law with no significant history of Bar discipline. High performance on MBE is needed. Academic or practice experience in Real Estate Law is essential. Strong legal research and writing skills are a must. Proven ability to write high-quality MBE passages, questions, and rationales is a prerequisite.
