A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in health care regulatory and/or transactional law. The ideal candidate will focus on health-care focused clients, possess significant knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments, and understand their impact on health care transactions and day-to-day business matters affecting industry clients. They should have sophisticated document drafting skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a willingness to mentor younger associates. Preferably, candidates will have AmLaw 100 experience, excellent academic credentials, strong writing and communication skills, and demonstrate comfort in direct interaction with senior partners and clients.

Job Details:

  • Advise health-care focused clients on federal and state health care regulatory environments and their implications in transactions and daily business operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements and documents related to health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage complex projects and matters related to health care regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Mentor and train junior associates, providing guidance on legal matters and fostering their professional development within the firm.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advice and strategic case planning within the health care industry.
  • Maintain direct communication with senior partners and clients, providing updates, strategic recommendations, and handling client inquiries effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of California.
  • 4-6 years of experience practicing health care regulatory and/or transactional law.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state health care laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability in sophisticated document drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and communication abilities.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of California.
