Senior Counsel (Employment Law) The candidate will collaborate with an experienced team of business executives and human resources personnel to implement policies and provide training to an international workforce. Provide expert review and advice on employment matters across different departments and geographies. Manage all aspects of employment related litigation, including drafting responses to administrative charges, representing the company at mediation, supervising outside counsel, and negotiating settlement agreement. Develop and implement sound workplace policies and procedures. Develop and deliver training to Human Resources and other business partners. Partner with Human Resources, Finance, and other internal clients to develop strategies for global mobility and immigration issues, including expat and secondment arrangements. Collaborate with Human Resources, Internal Audit and other business partners on internal investigations. Counsel internal clients, implement policies, and prepare filings to enhance compliance with data privacy regulations. Counsel on a wide range of domestic and international matters, such as compensation, employee benefits, government contractor obligations, and electronic discovery. Must have J.D. from a leading law school with 5-7 years of experience with a reputable law firm and/or in-house department (prior in-house experience is a plus). Should have significant experience with federal and state employment laws. Experience with U.S. and E.U. data privacy law is a strong plus.
