Legal Assistant / Resource Assistant Duties: Facilitates the printing, copying, scanning and distribution of documents in coordination with other Firm resources. Promptly responds to requests via written, verbal or electronic communication. Effectively analyzes the complexity of each work request, time demands and potential conflicting priorities and when necessary negotiates a reasonable deadline for its completion. Interacts with attorneys and staff across all offices. Smoothly handles multiple demands and shifting priorities. Prepares, tracks and maintains attorney expenses in Chrome River. Enters invoices in Chrome River. Maintains InterAction and/or Extranet data. Assists with the preparation of filings including e-Filings. Assists with the assembly of practice specific binders. Assists with concierge related duties including providing backup support for the reception desk. Assists in providing backup support for other Firm related functions as needed.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High School diploma. 1+ years of general office experience. 3+ of general office experience with Law Firm experience a plus. Speaks and writes English clearly and succinctly. Preferred: Notary Public. Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and office equipment. Demonstrates ability to draw on a variety of resources to achieve results.
