Duties:

• Assist in drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings
• Administer depositions, issue interrogatories, and review documents as part of the discovery process
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Perform legal research to support cases
• Represent clients in court appearances as needed
• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in the state of Illinois
• 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in family law, employment law, or commercial litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
