Contracts and Legal Administrator The candidate will be responsible ensuring contract deliverables are met and maintained through accurate records and control reports. This role is the key holder to ensuring execution, renewal and termination of contracts. Research, participate in recommendations and implementing automated contract management information system. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for vendor contract management and administration activities. Review contract requests and proposals for comparison to company strategies and budgets. Coordinate relevant stakeholders in discussions involving legal, insurance, or regulatory requirements and contract deliverables. Provide contract requirements by gathering data from various sources. Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments. Coordinate contract execution and ensure signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties and provide clarity on contractual matters and deliverables when necessary. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental administrators and representatives of contracted external parties. Ensure contracts are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained. Document contract timeline requirements, deliverables, and obligations. Maintain contractual records such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence as assigned by executive management. Work with Finance team to ensure proper income and expense accounting requirements. Prepare financial analysis and various reports of contract cost. Coordinate renewals or amendments with appropriate parties. Serve as point of contact for customers on contractual matters as assigned by management. Oversee service level agreement compliance. Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution. Assist Risk Manager with coordination efforts of company RFPs. Assist Risk Manager with company insurance renewals.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Bachelorâ€™s Degree preferably in related field. Should have Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel skills. Should have 2+ years of Contract Management or relevant experience, such as paralegal or purchasing. Strong knowledge of contract management, principles, and guidelines is needed. Ability to perform contract review and analysis is required. Excellent persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations is needed. Contract Management certification is a plus.
