Administrative Office Manager Duties : Supports and contributes to the firm's mission and strategic plan by providing administrative and professional support and high-level strategic oversight to the Regional Services Division. Serves the Attorney General's office and the citizens of the state by ensuring that the highest standard of ethics, excellence and effectiveness is provided in the Regional Services Division. Coordinates the efforts of 120 staff of the Regional Services Division and significantly increases the efficiency and excellence of the legal services provided to a large number of state agencies and institutions, which include DSHS, DLI, DOL, DEL, multiple four and two year higher education institutions, the School for the Blind, the Center for Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss, several ESDs, and shares work with other AGO Divisions (Torts and Consumer Protection). Ensures and requires that personnel administration for firm's staff in the division is uniformly and equitably applied in all seven offices. The AOM is a required consultant for all personnel and corrective actions taken by RSD Leads. Responsible for maintaining uniform policies, procedures, and practices in juvenile litigation practices across eleven locations and five divisions involving more than 5,000 matters opened per year. Sets standards for case administration and tracking of open matters. Shares responsibility for providing centralized performance measurement for Deputy Attorneys General and Division Chiefs, providing uniformity and comparability in measurement across the state. Independently assesses and assures data reliability, and applies judgment in adapting measures to meet new statutory schemes and updates. Manages all non-legal administrative and operational functions of the Regional Services Division (RSD) and develops and implements policies and procedures in coordination with the Division Chief. Provides top-level coordination with administrative divisions, including the Fiscal, Human Resources, Information Services, Public Records Unit, and the central Administration divisions.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in business administration or allied field and 3+ years of supervising, leading, mentoring, coaching or training staff in a legal or judicial setting; OR A combination of 7+ years of legal office experience and 3+ years of supervising, leading, mentoring, coaching or training staff in a legal or judicial setting. Must have demonstrate 3-5 years of Successful Experience in: Law Office Management; Supervisory techniques and Human Resources management. Deadline : 03/22/2018.
