Compliance Analyst The candidate will be an integral part of the Finance team. Will maintain legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements and obtaining approvals. Maintain legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements and obtaining approvals. Maintain compliance program structure as developed and implemented. Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information. Compile approved policies and procedure. Assist in developing a policy and procedure library. Keep other departments abreast of requirements by researching regulatory and filing information and by writing and communicating guidelines. Assist in annual review of Care Access policies and procedures. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Maintain rapport with operations personnel by arranging continuing contacts and resolving concerns. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Understand regulatory frameworks. Assist with organizing and recording compliance committee meetings.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. Must have 3-5 years of regulatory research experience. Professional compliance certification is a plus. Experience in state-specific regulation interpretation and implementation is required. Experience with auditing internal policy compliance is needed. Strong knowledge of industry processes and standards is essential. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping is a must. Should have strong working knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations, and safety-related codes, including OSHA, EPA and NFPA regulations. Familiarity with OFAC, GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA is a prerequisite. Must have willingness to travel as needed. Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology is required. Excellent working knowledge of federal regulations and GCP is essential. Proficient office/business skills are a must. Auditing experience is a plus.
