Duties:
- Lead client meetings to design customized estate planning and elder law strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Draft and review legal documents such as Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Proxies.
- Oversee estate administration and probate proceedings, ensuring clients receive the necessary support and guidance.
- Represent clients in probate court hearings and trust administration matters.
- Provide counsel to seniors and their families on long-term care planning, Medicaid eligibility, and guardianship issues.
- Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to manage casework, ensuring efficient and thorough service delivery.
- Stay updated on changes in Massachusetts estate planning, probate, and elder law to ensure clients benefit from the most current legal strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and elder law.
- Proven expertise in Massachusetts estate administration and probate law.
- Ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with a team.
- Strong client service focus, with an emphasis on providing compassionate legal solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An active member in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar.
