Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will review and abstracting of purchase agreements with attention to critical dates and closing conditions. Review and analysis of title and survey matters. Drafting title review memorandums and title objection letters. Organizing and fulfilling conditions necessary to satisfy title requirements. Researching real property tax and ownership information. Coordinating, conducting, and funding escrow closings. Compliance with escrow instruction letters, including recording and the issuance of final title insurance policies. Managing post-closing.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 4-year degree from an accredited college or university and a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program. Must have experience in a law firm setting handling all aspects of commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, and loans. Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with using computers for organizing and maintaining documents. Strong communication skills and the ability to document, summarize and present information to attorneys.
