Legal Administrative Assistant The candidate will track and send all bankruptcy trust offers to clients. Upload signed releases to the corresponding bankruptcy trust. Send affidavits to clients upon paralegalsâ€™ request and update spreadsheets. Track and send no probate affidavits where applicable to affiants and update spreadsheet. Cure release deficiencies that may occur and other deficiencies upon request. Manage client concerns and correspondence when they call. Give updates to clients about their claimsâ€™ status when they call; refer further concerns to the appropriate paralegal when necessary. Assist with other settlement projects when assigned (POCs, targeted mailings, etc.)
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have BA/BS Degree. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills. 2 yearsâ€™ office work experience, preferably in a law firm. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong initiative; Professional demeanor. Flexibility to respond to quickly changing priorities. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
