Probate/Litigation Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible to prepare, process, and maintain detailed legal documents, business correspondence, invoices enter timesheet information and review and send out monthly bills. open and maintain files, communications with potential clients as well as scheduling consultations/meetings, schedule and keep multiple calendars, compose, edit, and type documents from transcription machine, filing and e-filing in various courts and support and manage a probate practice of one attorney.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have high school graduation required, some college preferred with 3-5 years' experience as a legal secretary or legal assistant. Should have excellent writing ability, complex problem solving, good time management, legal terminology and ability to work within strict deadlines. Must know Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer. TimeSlips and Time Matters usage additionally preferred
