Fall Internship The internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and observe first-hand how the government operates. Interns gain practical work experience by undertaking a variety of administrative and legislative responsibilities in the office. Interns draft constituent correspondence, attend briefings and Congressional hearings, and prepare memos for me and members of the staff. Interns also assist with answering phones, data entry, and general office systems operations. Preference is given to college students with Junior or Senior standing and recent graduates.
