Patent Paralegal The candidate will be answering phones. Will be drafting and filing formal patent documents or administrative responses (missing parts, entity status change, issue fee payments, etc.) through EFS and ePCT. Corresponding with foreign counsels and foreign patent offices. Docketing (Pattsy). Sending out task reminders/appointments/meetings (Microsoft Outlook). Following up with attorneys. Inputting official fees and time entries and generating invoices (QuickBooks). Running accounting reports for A/R. Otherwise assisting in other administrative tasks to ensure a smooth office workflow. B.A./B.S. degree or similar is preferred. Experience handling administrative actions in patent applications is required. Must have 1+ year of intellectual property law office experience in a similar position. Should have familiarity entering time/bills and invoicing in QuickBooks (or similar program).
