Employee Relations and HR Investigations, Director The candidate will provide day-to-day advice and guidance on performance management issues, FMLA, disability or other health-related issues, claims of unfair treatment, discrimination or harassment. Conduct internal investigations of employee relations concerns, including complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other work-related issues. Develop, implement and maintain tools to enhance the understanding of appropriate handling of workplace issues. Identify, develop and facilitate delivery of relevant training for managers, HR and employees on Employee Relations topics of import to the Firm. Partner with HR Legal to discuss and mitigate exposure on charges, attorney demand letters, litigations and arbitrations including settlement of claims. Must have Juris Doctorate degree. Should have 5-10 years' experience in Employee Relations/HR or US Employment law with financial services experience. Strong working knowledge of US Federal and State Employment laws is required. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, including listening, client engagement and conflict resolution is needed. Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel is must.
