Paralegal - Temporary Candidate will aid the SVP, General Counsel with the automation of the registration statements and integration of the registrations with a content management system. Will be responsible for providing support in the drafting, editing, revising, and reviewing of registration statement content, and ensuring content is consistent with legal documents and agreements. Aid in the preparation of Mutual Fund Registration statements, supplements to prospectuses, and related Securities Act and XBRL filings. Solely focused on coordinating the implementation of a prospectus management system. Ensure registration statements compliant with SEC requirements. Organize and maintain electronic content filings.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Strong academic record with a preferred GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Paralegal certificate preferred. 3+ years prior experience, preferably working with Mutual Funds. Exceptionally detail-oriented. Strong communication skills both oral and written with strong follow-up. Position requires the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, under pressure, and to demonstrate resourcefulness in problem solving. Strong organizational skills. General understanding of the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934, and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Required proficiency in Word, Excel, EDGAR (i.e. SEC electronic filing System). Knowledge of the mutual fund industry and securities laws.
