Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Supervise junior associates, guiding their development and ensuring high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with experts to gather relevant information and prepare for depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Assist in the development of case strategies, leveraging analytical skills and legal expertise.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of case progress.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures while promoting a positive team environment.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions that drive the success of litigation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic background with a JD and credentials from nationally recognized institutions.
  • MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degree is required.
  • Admission to practice in Delaware.
  • Proven experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is essential.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials, preferably from nationally recognized schools.
  • Advanced degree (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) required.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Delaware.
