ProfileSecurity Specialist, GG 11 Duties: The candidate establishes and maintains an effective and efficient security program within the installation. Interprets higher level guidance and implements directives and guidance to the Army organizations on the installation. Provides advisement and assistance to senior authorities and the installation workforce in regards to security programs. Administer policies, practices and metrics which reflect the security posture of the garrison and tenant activities on the installation. Conducts analysis to identify program issues and develops remedial actions, and provides advisements and recommended policy/procedural changes. Evaluates security program resources within the installation and initiates programming, budgeting and manpower actions.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Ph.D degree or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:Security Administration field of study.
The candidate must have 1 year of experience which prepared. Specialized experience is defined as experience in personnel, information security, industrial programs utilizing risk assessments and/or foreign disclosures and/or security education training awareness programs is needed. Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled is needed.
