Labor Relations Specialist II Duties: Apply intermediate professional level work to provide technical assistance and administrative support in the operations of the Labor and Employee Relations Department which include coordinating grievance administrative procedures; representing management in the negotiation/interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements; preparing data/facts for mediation/arbitration hearings; and advising/counseling MLGW personnel concerning departmental matters and related activities.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelorâ€™s degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Juris Doctorate degree, or related area. Must have 2-4 years professional experience in labor relations. A professional accreditation in Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) preferred with appropriate rating(s). Must have computer software skills in word processing, presentation and spreadsheets. Must have a valid driverâ€™s license from state of residence.
