ProfileLegal Administrative Assistant Candidate will support the Attorney and Legal Secretary. Responsible for legal secretarial and administrative tasks including, document creation, editing and preparation, filing, time entry, telephone calls, calendar maintenance and mailing distributions. Maintaining client confidentiality is essential. May potentially be called to serve Opposing Counsel. May be called to fulfill needs beyond what has been listed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 1+ years working in an administrative legal capacity. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and multitask. Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Experience working with online calendaring systems and timekeeping software. Experience with Judicial Council forms. Ability to prioritize and handle ever-changing priorities. Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player and be committed to providing a high level of client service. Ability to be adaptable; must be able to learn on the job.
