We are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator / Contract Specialist / Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team and provide high quality legal support to one of the top engineering firms in the country. This position is eligible for in-office or hybrid work arrangements, based out of our Waltham, MA or Los Angeles, CA office locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including professional services agreements, master agreements, subconsultant/subcontractor agreements, and more.
- Ensure consistency of contract terms with risk management and business objectives.
- Provide advice and interpretation of terms and conditions to mitigate risk.
- Counsel business leaders on negotiation strategy and directly negotiate with external clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technical staff and operations teams to address legal issues.
- Educate internal clients through presentations and other communications.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Juris Doctor with 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment, law firm, or construction industry.
- Familiarity with foreign licensing/registration and government contracts is a plus.
- Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet use.

Compensation:

- Anticipated annual base salary of $95,000 - $120,000.
