Contracts Manager The candidate will review, draft and negotiate a variety of agreements in connection with original audio content, such as work for hire, location and talent agreements. Will negotiate licenses and permissions with various rights holders for content to be used on Audible platforms. Manage and monitor the contracts requests email for all inbound content requests and routing applicable request to appropriate party and/or responding to requests with no clear owners. Review content prior to posting, (which may entail multiple stakeholders internally) to ensure necessary clearances are in place. Assist with other tasks and projects on an as-needed basis. Should have 5+ years of paralegal, contracts manager or other comparable experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts. Must have Bachelor Degree. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Working Knowledge of legal concepts Related to Licensing, including copyright and trademark law preferred.
