ProfileCompliance Officer / Title IX Coordinator The candidate will serve as the lead in ensuring the college is operating in line with all federal, state, and accreditor recommendations and mandates. Will be responsible for working with the College community as a resource for answering questions on legislative developments and holding a working knowledge of local, state, federal and accreditation regulations as they relate to higher education compliance. Research, analyze and communicate the impact of laws and regulations on PA College operations. The incumbent will also lead efforts to recommend and support required changes to assure ongoing compliance with regulations. Also work diligently to guide the review and revision of policies and procedures relevant to compliance requirements. Responsible for coordinating the institution’s compliance with federal and state discrimination and sexual harassment laws. Coordinate educational programs regarding discrimination and sexual harassment prevention as well as to oversee the response, investigation, and resolution to allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment. While providing leadership to the Title IX team and serve as main contact to College Community for Title IX.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Master’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or related field. Juris Doctor degree preferred. Must have 1-3 years demonstrated experience in higher education compliance. Previous compliance and/or legal experience is required.
