A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Pasadena, CA. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including employment, business, and real estate disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective case strategies and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Provide high-quality client service by addressing client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay informed about legal trends and updates in relevant practice areas.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work quality.

Requirements:

• At least 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on law & motion work.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Experience representing clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• A client-centered approach, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide reassurance.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Legal expertise in civil litigation and law & motion.

• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
• Bilingual (preferred, but not required).
