Vice President Corporate Compliance
The candidate will report to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). The Vice President will lead the implementation, evaluation and ongoing refinement of all compliance activities for an effective Compliance Program, including the core areas of internal audit, education and training; compliance hotline; privacy and security; fraud, waste and abuse; compliance investigations; exclusion checks; and ancillary operations such as CCA’s clinical care programs. Bachelor's degree in a business, health care or related area of study. An advanced degree is preferred (e.g. Master's degree, ideally with an emphasis in health care administration, and/or J.D.). Certification in Health Care Compliance preferred. - Multiple years of job-related management, internal audit, and health care compliance experience. - 10 years or more of experience - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and government health care rules, regulations and guidelines. - Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations. - Leadership experience managing a team or department of compliance and audit professionals. - Effective management skills including proven ability to: - Manage complex processes with precision and efficiency. - Conduct rigorous investigation and analysis of complex health care, regulatory, financial and clinical issues and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to business leaders. - Lead and facilitate group meetings, and effectively present to Senior Leadership, Executive Leadership and the Board. - Manage large volumes of information, documents, and electronic data. - Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication (verbal and written) and presentation (formal written and verbal) skills. - Proven ability to function independently and exercise judgment and leadership in accordance with objective legal, regulatory requirements and the organization’s operational objectives, under complex and demanding circumstances. Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
