The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of patent attorneys and agents on a variety of patent matters. Job Description ---------------- As a Patent Agent/Advisor (Biotech), you will be responsible for conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, analyzing patent and scientific papers and documents to assist patent attorneys on patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation, drafting patent applications and responses to office actions, and advising lawyers on technology issues in preparation for depositions. You must have superb technical, written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as broad scientific knowledge in in biotechnology or related field. You must also be a registered USPTO patent agent or eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam and otherwise meet the requirements for registration as a patent agent.
