Paralegal Duties: Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), independent contractor agreements, teaming agreements, and other standard contractual documents.. Support the small business subcontracting plan responsibilities under IT70 GSA Schedule government contracts. Support the review, approval, signature, filing (electronic and hard-copy) exchange and filing of contracts in contract repository. Support the Legal Department’s plans to develop a more comprehensive contract management system. Lead projects that support the development and maintenance of the contracts and legal department infrastructure. Support the vetting of third party representatives under third party vetting policy, including researching each entity, composing the vetting package of documents, and making and retaining records of all vetting activity and outcomes. Support the recordkeeping of the actions of the Trade Compliance Officer (TCO) and Trade Compliance Correspondent(s) (each a TCC) pursuant to IDEMIA’s gift and hospitality policy. Support policy compliance activities, generally. Responsible for and assists in the development of department reports, tools, and documentation that aids in the monitoring and compliance of contract and legal functions. Organize and maintain paper and electronic records systems. Support the Legal Department lawyers activity on litigation matters. Maintain the Legal Department file room in the Bloomington office, and work with the local office manager to comply with record retention policy. Serve as an information and communication liaison to handle routine inquiries from internal and external customers, to aid in legal processes. Support Legal Department with other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate from an accredited institution in paralegal studies, law or related field. 5+ years of experience in a law firm, corporate, or office environment. Excellent communication and organization skills, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Trustworthy and discreet with good business judgment. Proficient use of office technology, computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases (e.g. Serengeti, GEMS). Experience with Government & International Contracts a plus.
