Paralegal Duties: Assisting attorneys in all areas of litigation, including cite-checking, Bluebooking, proofreading, filing, preparing binders, and drafting form documents. Conducting research. Coordinating with other departments, as well as external partners and clients. Providing administrative assistance as needed, including scheduling, copying, note-taking, expense reports/tracking, travel arrangements and office filing.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelorâ€™s Degree. Experience working in legal office preferred. Must feel comfortable calling government offices, including courts, police departments and prosecutorâ€™s offices. Excellent research, writing, and editing skills and outstanding attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment and deliver timely and high-quality work. Strong work ethic, sense of humor, flexibility, creativity, and a professional demeanor. Ability to work in a sometimes-hectic, open plan office.
