Spring Internship The intern will join Appeals and Research Bureau division. An internship in the Appeals and Research Division will give the law student an overview of the types of work performed by attorneys in appellate practice. Students will receive experience in legal research and writing. Interns will research and draft responses to legal research requests from attorneys throughout the office. Additionally, interns will research and update MCAOâ€™s standardized argument bank. Also summarize police involved shooting investigation reports and prepare those cases for the shooting review board. Provide students with the opportunity to further develop their research and writing skills. Intern will have an opportunity to work in the 3 rd largest prosecutorial agency in the county. The intern program provides a realistic view of what it is like to practice law in the firmâ€™s Office. Students who have completed either their 1L or 2L year are considered. Must have completed their third semester may have the opportunity to be a Certified Limited Practice Student if they meet the criteria set forth by the Arizona Supreme Court Rule 38(d).
