Real Estate Administrator The candidate will assist Manager with ALL company divisions with any and all real-estate related needs which may arise. Review title commitments and determine exceptions to be deleted. Prepare closing books for all real estate transactions. Assist with obtaining and/or renewing conditional use permits. Coordinate drill testing of sand and gravel sites. Review governmental agendas for specified activities. Docket critical deadlines and initiate action as required. Assist with bi-annual summary of all current sand and gravel real estate holdings together with potential/prospective parcels company may wish to acquire. Assist with bi-annual update of all plant superintendent and manager books for current sand and gravel operations. Review and update regional and state maps outlining the company's properties and competitors' properties (concrete and sand and gravel). Organize and maintain legal files. Aid Manager with the organization and presentations at mid-year land and year-end strategy meetings for sand and gravel divisions. Track real estate taxes and yearly valuation changes for all real estate parcels (approximately 200 parcels). Prepare and file tax protest valuations to the appropriate jurisdiction. Coordinate with FSA and Farmers National Company in preparation of annual farm rent summary. Lease gravel properties. Track real estate tax paid on each parcel of land. Assist with communication with the owners of leased land. Provide mapping documentation to all who require such maps, past and current. Assist with rental of two homes owned by company. Track well registrations and update summary of current wells. Obtain permits to drill new wells from applicable natural resource districts. Document company use of adjoining land to assist in future quiet title actions.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent form a two year college with a concentration in Real Estate or Paralegal. or 1+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Real Estate or Paralegal experience is desired.
