Legal Administrator Duties: Support in-house counsel in routing and reviewing contracts, including coordinating with the Executive Management Team to ensure Company's contracting processes are followed and that necessary signatures or authorizations are obtained and that necessary documents and facts are gathered and reviewed. Provides assistance in preparation of all legal documentation. Coordinates activities, as appropriate, with legal department and other corporate colleagues to ensure that policies and processes are met and that deadlines are maintained. General document review and support, including receipt and review of subpoenas, court orders, demand letters, client requests and other requests for information and assisting in-house and outside counsel in gathering, reviewing and producing documents and information. Litigation support, including receipt and review of lawsuits and/or client disputes, research of issues involved in lawsuits or client disputes, and assisting in-house and outside counsel in gathering, reviewing and producing documents and information related to litigations or disputes. Acts as an information resource to in-house counsel; defines and prioritizes legal projects and resources, determines project scheduling and provides agenda assistance. Maintains a follow-up system and ensures that deadlines are met for all litigation and corporate requirements. Compiles data, and creates and updates spreadsheets used for analysis of legal issues, including quarterly litigation report. Managing insurance policies and completion of all related documents, including renewal applications. Coordinate claims submission as needed. Develops, organizes and implements a general filing system to ensure appropriate record maintenance for the department and facility. Drafts minutes for committee and board meetings; maintains corporate records.Qualification and Experience
Requirement: Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years paralegal or legal secretarial experience in healthcare setting with contract and litigation experience; knowledge of healthcare, collections, government programs, and insurance law a plus.
